Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden
| Professor Forbes has pioneered the field of structured light. His seminal contributions include tailoring light at the source with novel lasers, and new forms of quantum entangled states with light. His work has found widespread application, realising an all-digital toolbox for unravelling light, new approaches to fast and secure optical communication networks, and an intelligent quantum microscope for imaging light sensitive structures. During his stay in Germany, he will continue to work on the exploration of the interplay between structured matter and structured waves. |
